Engine floods after sitting warm

My 2002 5.gxi Volvo Pentax starts easily the first crank when cold. It will also start easily when warm if the time lapse after stopping is a few minutes. However, after running and let it sit for an hour or so the engine floods. I can start only by pushing throttle 3/4 forward to clear the flooding. What would be causing this

Are you sure this is a 5.0 GXi and not carbureted? It almost sounds like a carb float sticking.

I am sure. It is fuel injection

Dirty injectors maybe? Could be sticking open.

Can you identify which injector(s) are causing the flooding? In any case, you could try adding an injector cleaning product to the fuel and see if there is an improvement.
