I have a 2001 Yamaha (I know its the E&J board but this page has the highest traffic..) and it bogs down after it hits 30mph and it idles a bit rough. I just bought it and it seemed to run fine on the test run. Its had the same tank of gas for 2 years and Scugog was very weedy. Every time I pulled up the motor it was covered in weeds. Could these be factors in how the motor was running today? Would an old tank of gas have that much effect?
