"The pin with the rubber o-ring that passes through the electronics module from the top of the inlet housing on the VRO2 pump, is that supposed to be level or pushed down? It seems that if it is level, it will properly sit on the plastic spring loaded switch in the module. Can not locate a diagram detailed enough to tell me. JWB any idea?"

I think Joseph is talking about the sensor pin on the no oil alarm module. I don't know where the pin is supposed to sit without taking an old pump apart. I think it is supposed to move without too much resistance though. It has to move when an oil pulse comes through the line for the module to count the pulse.
