E40DPLSUM ECU issue

Hi there, 2007 40HP.

The engine will not throttle up so have to put in neutral and restart. Problem then goes away. Is there a way to fix the ECU?

Contact your dealer to have EMM ( ECU ) checked out.----Any other trouble shooting done?

Are you starting it in neutral with no throttle?

yes neutral no throttle. no power. turn off start again have power

No dealer. In Antigua in the Caribean. Was hoping someone else may have encountered the issue and had a magical fix. The work around works.
