E10elccs 1988 9.9 cranking issues

having an issue starting the motor, with plugs in the motor it will bearly turn over, not fast enough to start it,take plugs out it turns over fine. Battery full charge with good crank amps, new celinoide, but with plugs in it can bearly turn over the motor. tried pull starting just seems sluggish.

Feel the cables. A hot cable indicates a loose or tight but dirty connection which results in a voltage drop. Disconnect, clean all cable end terminals and the component they connect to, then tighten using a wrench or pliers, not your fingers if wing nuts are encountered.

With the spark plugs removed, the engine should turn over easily and smoothly by hand.

thanks for the quick reply, will go thru all connections, cable was warm not hot when i was cranking on it yesterday.
