down piston for yamaha 85 hp melted

I have yamaha 85 hp the down piston is melted (burn) can anybody help me in this problem as it make noise and when I open the machine the piston is burned

Anyone could help me and advice regarding this problem

The motor must come apart for repairs.----You or your mechanic must find out why it happened as well.---Look for issues with plugged carburetor / bad waterpump / bad oil injection / or perhaps a timing issue.

What you mean by timing issue

Spark igniting the fuel at the wrong time ,possible too early.

Really need to know what motor were working on?
Model? Serial#? Year.
IF??? Someone messed with the timing? It's possible it could cause damage.
Most times the damage can be from:wrong oil mix? the carbs out of adjustment,overheating,clogged exhaust???
You'll need to dismantle the engine and look for clues?
