Hi all, Im trying to get some information on how to dissasemble my lower leg.
I think that its a 1990 and it is leaking gear oil from prop shaft.
I cant seem to find any info on this or where i can get the tool nessesary to remove the prop shaft housing.
Any info you can give me to help out would be of great help as I can't afford to take it to a shop.
I also need to find out where i can get my seals from..
Am living in the Red deer Alberta.
Tnx

In a pinch, you can tap the nut off with a round-ended punch. If it won't move (right hand threads) however, then you'll need to make a tool for it. Some people made them by drilling holes in the jaws of an adjustable wrench and driving in a couple of roll pins.

Some of these had a thrust washer that could be turned around to become the tool to take it apart.-----Using the prop shaft and prop to turn the nut--------------Then again you could take a piece of pipe and modify it to fit in the three slots .---------------It is a LEFTHAND THREAD in there.

Hey Thanks for the suggestions cause the thrust washer did the trick and out it came..
Made one hell of a crack when I broke the tourqe lock on the bearing carrier...
Sounded like I did brake somthing when it happened cause it shure was in there tight..
