Can I remove the knock system, is total advance control by the knock sensor system or by the desa module
Having a intermitting miss fire, only 36 hr. on new engine

Anything that contributes to detonation may allow the sensor to send a signal to the controller unit.
If so, it will cut back on TA, as I understand it.

How this would create a misfire, is questionable, IMO.
Hopefully Chris (aka DocksideMarine) will chime in on this.
