I was reading in my manual abo

I was reading in my manual about exhaust through hubs and that they require a diffuser ring. I noticed mine doesn't have one and should it? Am I able to purchase this and install myself or is it a complete unit when you purchase a new prop?

"If You got an original OMC/BR

"If You got an original OMC/BRP prop (Alu) it is a std spare part. Just a plastic ring, but gives the prop a better 'grip' particularly in turns.
Put it in hot water before pressing it on."

"'If You got an original O

"'If You got an original OMC/BRP prop (Alu) it is a std spare part'

An OMC/BRP dealer - Yes, if an OMC/BRP prop."

"Sorry, I didn't know what

"Sorry, I didn't know what you were trying to say about having an OMC Aluminum prop and it being a standard spare part. Are the hubs all the same in diameter or should I take a measurement before going to get one?"

"Easiest is to bring the prop

"Easiest is to bring the prop along.
However same prop/rings for 9.9/15, 20-35 (2 cyl), 40/50/60 (2-cyl), 3cyl/V4, then V6/V8.
Depends on which engine You have."
