Differance between a 20Hp and a GT20 ..

Gday every one,
Just joined the forum, so hope im putting this in the right area.

My situation is this. I own a 1995 GT 20 Johno (Model #20SREO)
My question is, What is the differance between a normal 20 Hp and the GT 20's?
I am about to give it a Well over due service, and im wondering if there are any parts / Specs / Settings that are different then the Factory setting of a 20Hp, and the Factory Service Manual i have doesn't even mention the "GT20"

Never heard of a GT-20------------any pictures of it ?---------And you are located where ?---------------There is likely nothing that needs adjusting or setting if you are doing routine maintenance.

A European version probably, mod number starting with BE....? Check the intake manifold. I believe they have the 25 manifold but 20 carb on it.

Looks like a 25, but as mentioned got a 20 carb on it. Cross check the parts number. Assembled in Hong Kong.

I have been told that the GT20HP has more power than the original 20 HP Johnson as I also have a GT 20 HP Johnson

Likely a GT 20 is exactly the same as a 25 HP-----Only difference is decals and " marketing " hype.

From that, it would seem that it isn't a GT, or that it is a GT and the data plate is incorrect OR ????? Your mystery.
