Decarbonizing 5.7L 350, 300 HP

My engine has 1000 hours and runs great. I subscribe to preventive maintenance when I have that luxury :)

Is there a way to effectively decarbonize the engine - top and lower ? I have heard about using small amounts of water in the intake ( not sure where that would be introduced to the engine ) ? Or, SeaFoam. What would be a good way to assure a good clean up of the internal parts without risk ?

And, the fuel injection system ?

In my cars, I use Marvel Mystery oil in oil, run engine at high RPM's for a bit then dump oil. For fuel injection, I run fuel to a few gallons and add Techron, doing same high RPM run. Has worked well for cars....

Thx

Several companies make a cleaner for direct injection engines that you might try. Spray it in until the motor loads up and stalls, then let it sit for a while before re-firing.
