hi

we tried my fletcher 16 for the first time (mercury 50hp 4 stroke 4 cyl) - all was well until we landed after a biggish wave then the engine cut out like it had rune out of fuel - we had half a 25 litre (plastic) tank left - the vent was open - the engine restarted and continued to run OK - could there have been an airlock caused by fuel surge in the tank? - if so what can I do to stop this happening in future?

Could have been airlock,stranger things have happened!!! or mabe when you landed a loose wire was jiggled,if it runs fine now i wouldnt worry about it.
