Cracked block wtf

Block is cracked above shift shaft, engine will still run but oil is drained in minutes. Is only solution a new cylinder block assembly? Looks like the shift shaft pushed up into the base but it doesn’t look elevated? It’s a 2014 90 EFI.
 
A good welder can fix / repair this.----A product called ----" LUMIWELD "---- can fix this.----At any rate there is a lot of work to do.
