    1986 19 Ft. Searay Seville
    4.3 OMC Cobra
    Recent purchase

The two line that go from the tilt/trim pump to the port behind the transom plate were leaking.
Pulled engine as I needed to installed new long block anyway.
Both lines appear to have been rubbed and pinched by the coupler.
Replaced both lines and ran them the same as the old ones--which appears to be the only option. The lines basically set between the exhaust"Y" outlet and the coupler.
Put new engine in and it appears the coupler will rub on them.

Would someone know the correct routing , or better yet a photo?
    Thanks for any help

SUNP0178.jpgHere is how I have them routed-but can"t be right-still in hopes someone can help! I do know some transoms plate have a recess to allow for lines to be ran-mine, a 1986 does not.

Might add that the original lines were braided stainless . The best I can tell is stainless lines were used from 1986 - 1989. Later models have a recess in the transom plate on the port side were the lines ran over to the pump. Here is hoping someone has a photo of rear area with the engine out. Anyone that views and doesn't know could you ask a fellow boater--been on hold from putting new engine back in for over 2 weeks now. Desperate is the word I guess.
