Kinda dumb question but I am new to this stuff. I Just got a used 1984 Evinrude 115 and need to know which control cable goes where in the control box.

Both cables can be installed in the box !------Then you operate the control fast idle lever and it will tell you which cable to hook up to the throttle on the motor.------------You must adjust the wheel on the cable before installing it at the motor.------Simple enough if you think it through.

Makes perfect sense now...I must be overthinking this stuff a bit..haha
