Folks - new to boating community so looking for some help. I'm working with a couple of friends to rennovate a 24' pontoon boat with 1992 90-hp Evinrude VE90TLEND and original control unit. We would like to replace the control unit and cables as part of the rennovation as the current one is damaged (missing trim switch), really heavy (cables?). Have been looking around but getting hopelessly confused on what would or would not work as a replacement. Any suggestions? 90 hp 2 stroke so needs the choke control and trim adjustment. Thanks in advance.
