"i have a Chrysler 45hp that is in need of some ignition coils.can someone please recommend to me what coils to use part no/ect?

The part number for the (standard) ignition is 85-818076A2 and is available from a Merc dealer.

If your model had the "magnapower" ignition the coil number was F345475-1 (supreseded Force part number - an internet search produces a number of options for replacement)."
