Chrysler 45 wont start

Took a spin and ran out of gas. At least thats what I thought. But in checking why it wouldnt start after filling up, I found that the fuel pump diaphragm had cracks in both sections. and it felt like the rubber had hardened and cracked. So I replaced the diaphragm, but it still wont start. Whats the best way to
check if I have spark to the plugs? I suspect it's weak or non-existent.

This site might sell something like this or even Amazon/e-bay etc.
Or pull the plug, then using INSULATED pliers, hold the end of the plug against the block.
Turn the motor over and look for spark at the electrode.j
