I have a 150 johnson that will run fine for 15 min then check enine light comes on with steady alarm temp is at 165 and if you run at about 4000 she is fine when you slow down to idle the light goes out. If i try to give her full throttle she will start to bog and lose power, if you back down and stay at 4000 she will run fine, but the light will stay lit.The gas tank was just replaced and fuel filter/water sep is new also.
