Carb swapping

I have two evinrude motors a e25elece and a e30eleud the outer exhaust housing is cracked on the 25hp. Since the 30 is a parts motor and the mid sections are the same, I am planning on swapping them out. But what about the carbs? What do yall think about swapping them out as well?
 
Check the compression on both engines and use the one with the best compression. Put the intake manifold and carb from the 30hp engine on the 25 if it has better compression same with the exhaust cover. Work up a parts list and get the gaskets and carb kit here same with the fuel pump in the best condition rebuild the carb and fuel pump and replace all the fuel lines.
 
The compression on the 30 in crap (73/60) the 25 is good at about 135 each. The carbs are fine on both along with the fuel pump on both. Most of all the parts interchange on these two motors. Do you think there would be any power increase from doing this?
 
About 16% increase put the intake manifold and carb and exhaust cover off the 30hp onto the 25hp and run with it. You may need a prop with more pitch was the 30hp complete?
