Carb For 1995 50FL PHUE. Ford 305 - help with finding

Bought a Larson 214 lxi 1995 very little use. A lot of downtime
Some jerks stole the carb off from previous owner. I haven't even got the wrap off the intake yet to look. But according to local dealer it had a 2 barrel.

Larson is big heavy boat. If I have to buy a carb I'd like to put a 4 barrel on there. Any help or suggestions as to whether I can get one that will bolt on to own intake or if I have to get a new intake for a 4 bl

There is no way of mounting a 4barrel carb on a 2barrel intake manifold. You will need to find out what carburetor was on the boat and replace it with the same make/model. Don't try to put an automotive carb on a boat, it won't work too good and it could go boom along with you. You could try to find a correct 4barrel manifold but then you need to get the carb along with it and it starts to get expensive. The extra power probably won't be worth the effort and money. We are talking about 20hp at most.
