Hi guys,
While browsing through my Mercury outboard I came across a hose that is attached at one end but not at the other.
The hose attaches at the top of the flywheel/timing belt cover...is about 25 inches long, but is not attached at the bottom.
I've looked everywhere on the motor but have been unable to find a place where this hose should hook up. It has me completely baffled.
The motor is a 1999, 50HP, four stroke, 4 cylinder carburetorated engine.
I'm attempting to attach a photo of the hose in question.
If anyone can give me some guidance I would greatly appreciate it.
