I am a fairly experienced boa

I am a fairly experienced boater. I was told this weekend that my carbs were dirty because i stalled several times and am accelateting slowly on take off. Can i install a rebuild carb kit myself i have some machanical knoweledge and how long would it take .I have never done this kind of work before.Where can I find info to attempt this???
