91 120hp I'm at the lake and in need of changing my water pump the head broke off the bolt at the shift shafts connection. Any ideas to get this bolt out would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Oh crap!!!

What a bad place to break a bolt.

You are going to have to pull the carbs, throttle bodies, and possibly the intake to be able to get to the area to work.
You will see the top of the shift rod fits in a slot in an odd shaped aluminum part referred to at the "Lever, shift rod" P/N 326644 reference # 20 on the parts pages.

I fear you will have to cut that aluminum part off (dremel???) taking care not to damage the shift shaft, and then replace the part.
They cost 37 bucks and are still available. Don't forget to order the new bolt/pin that retains the shift shaft.

You will have to do a proper link and sync when re-assembling the intake and carbs.
