Brand New Mercury Mariner 9.9

I just bought a new Mercury Mariner 9.9 The guys dad bought it in 1995 and it has never been used. It has all the manuals with it. What do you all think this is worth. I hate to use it on my boat if it has value beyond a new 9.9. What do you all think? I really wanted a Yamaha HO. It is for a kicker on a 27' fishing boat. Maybe someone on here would like to trade for a Yamaha! This is my first time posting, but most likely will need your help. I am building a Tolman Skiff and am installing a 150 optimax as my main motor.

Install a new water pump impeller and use it !!-----Just a low hr 25 year old motor.-----There are lots of those around in many areas !----I know someone who built a Tolman skiff, a 20' version 115 HP motor.
