"I just purchased a used 2001 Honda BF90 with about 200 hrs. and it runs excellent except for 1 issue. When I throttle down very fast, it stalls. For instance, I may be going about 3000 rpm and than enter a no-wake zone so I pull back quickly, and the motor stalls. It starts right back up without a problem."

"Bob,
The dash pot has a vacuum line attached to the top side and a metal link that connects it to the throttle linkage. This dash pot is supposed to bring the RPM's up to keep the engine from stalling on sudden deceleration. Look for vacuum leaks on the dash pot lines, one for each carb."
