"I have a 1994 Mercury 200 XRI Black Max. After about a half day on the water the battery is dead. The battery is a Optima Marine Starting battery and tests just fine. The alternator also tests fine but I suspect it anyway. BTW when the boat is back at the dock and plugged in, the battery charges right up. Any ideas why it won't stay charged when in use?"
