" bought the aboved used with 215hrs on it. Seller said water gushing out all around the foot was normal when using the flushing port or "earmuffs".
Is it? Or have I got problems.

" It's ok to have water gushing out of the ports on the lower unit (foot?) when it's on the muffs. Sometimes you also have a sorta messy edge between the lower unit and exhaust housing (leg?) from things being pried apart and water will also gush out of there. If it's gushing out of some mating surface higher up, or some cracked metal somewhere, that's when you worry.. doesn't seem to be the case here.
