" I have a 1989 90hp Johnson which has always run great. While flushing the engine in the driveway with the cowling off, I noted that the 2 port (left) cylinders are significantly warmer than the starboard two. You can barely keep your finger on the back of the cylinders (where the spark plugs are) on the port ones where the ones on the right are barely warm. The temperature sensor is connected to one of the hotter running cylinders and always shows normal operating range. Does anyone know if this difference between the two sides is normal? "
