"After idling for a while, I gave some throttle and motor seemed to run wild into 3200 rpm before I cut to neutral. I then took it out and within several minutes after giving throttle to about 3500rpm motor died to idle. Won't go above idle at this point. I had the carbs cleaned late last summer and have replaced the water separator. Any suggestions for a novice outboard owner?"
