b06 DF4 lower unit wonbt drop

Took out both bolts (2&#41

Took out both bolts (2). Lower unit drops about 1" to 2" and stops. Seems like the shift rod is stuck to something because when I drop the lower unit from the mid section the shifter on the side shifts from N to R. Please advise. Thanks!

you should have a shift shaft

you should have a shift shaft release bolt or clip

Found it. The rubber housing b

Found it. The rubber housing blended in with the midsection and kept overlooking it. Loosened the boat and LU is off. Thanks for the help!
