"Hello Guys,

Which Bosch rotor I should install into distributor?

I went to my volvo dealer two weeks ago when I was doing my first engine, they sold me model R1.

Then after next two weeks when I finished fixing second engine they sold me R5.

When I asked them, why two diffrent, they told me that does'nt matter which one.

But what I notice R1 has got 2 times longer "metal thing" at the end.

I manage to set up timing on both engines, and they work well, but I am not sure, maybe it will do something not healthy for engine in longer time.

Shoud they sell me two the same? if yes which one is correct one?

It appears the AQ131A and the

It appears the AQ131A and the AQ130C distributors all share the same rotor. I use the Bosch F2020-24511 rotor in my AQ130C and it works perfectly.

"I also just confirmed on this site in the parts area that the AQ131A and the AQ130C share the same Sierra rotor part number, so that Bosch number above should be the one you want."
