AQ125 Spark plug wires

I did a search and all I can find is posts about converting to electronic ignition. Can I use plain old spark plug wires on my AQ125? I found a plug wire set online for 170 dollars. That's just completely stupid. Thought about a dizzy cap aswell but thats 80 bucks. Also very stupid!

You're stuck using the Marine distributor cap for this engine.

Ayuh,.... You can get a spark plug wire Kit, 'n build yer own, so long as the right fittings are used on the ends....

Spark plug wires don't know whether they're on a car, or a boat, except for the different end fittings...

You need to pay attention to the spark plug type if trying to build your own.
Most "build your own" kits do not connect to the threaded end NGK plugs normally found in the volvo.
Not a big deal if buying new plugs at the same time.

I've restored and old Honda 4 cyl motorcycle and you can get NGK spark plug caps in vairous angles (straight, 45, or 90) and NAPA 7 or 8 mm wires and cap ends. The plug cap screws onto the end of the wire so over time all you do is trim the end of the wire 1/4" and your golden.
