One of the old style alternators on my 318's died on vacation this year.I would like to replace both of them with newer single wire units, with around 140 amps to keep up with the loads of inverters etc, Any help would be much appreciated.

Contact a local alternator rep

Contact a local alternator repair shop and they will rebuild your present unit and make it a one wire at the same time.
