Alternator or Stator 2006 25hp Merc 4 stroke

I have been looking everywhere to see if I have an alternator or stator for charging my battery. I want to put a smart charger in the boat and it depends on what I have. It's a 25 hp EFI. If anyone knows off the top of your head that would be great. Thanks.

Your motor should already be equipped with a voltage regulator/rectifier to charge the battery if it's an electric start likely! All EFI should have!
