Aftermarket (much cheaper) fuel pump...is it actually a bargain?

As part of my never ending troubleshooting on my ‘61 5.5 Evinrude I’m considering replacing the fuel pump. Pretty sure it’s the original that’s on there.

The OEM version is quite pricey ($100) but eBay seems to be FULL of $15 aftermarket versions...has anyone tried one of these? If so, any issues?

Part # is 0388685.

They sell lots of them.-----I repair fuel pumps as these PRESSURE operated pumps are simple.----Outboard fuel pumps are easy to trouble shoot and repair.

Thanks, they do seem pretty straight-forward little gizmos. My first thought was just to replace gaskets/screen but the individual parts don't seem to be available anymore...

About the only thing that can go wrong is the diaphragm.----Available as a spare part for the wee square pumps.----Other diaphragms can be made if not on the shelf.
