I too have read your responses, and you sure do know your outboards. I am looking at buying a 20' boat with a 115 Johnson SPL Both are 1999. I am interested to know if this motor has any issues or problems. I am test riding the boat in the morning. I am interested to see if the Motor has carbs or is FICHT Fuel injected. Any asstance would be appreciated.

"John.... Sorry to say that I retired before that engine was manufactured, and I am not familiar with any problems that it might have. I can only state that I have heard of no problems to speak of.
