With all the great information
With all the great information I received with my outboard troubles I've got a question for a friend. He owns a 99 60 horse merc tiller steer. I'm not sure the hours but if the weather permits he uses it at least three to four times a week year round. We recently put a new impeller in the water pump. If he lets the motor sit at idle speed in neutral for over a minute or so the overheat alarm comes on. Also the motor doesn't pee when in reverse. Any Ideas?
