I recently replaced the rings on my 1999 135 Optimax. At final check, I made sure that all of the caps, and hoses were tight on both oil reservoirs, and began to check to see if the oil pump was distributing oil to the cylinders. I initiated the break in cycle by turning the key to the "on" position and pumped the throttle 5 times. The oil pump started pumping oil. I cranked the engine, pulled one of the hoses to one of the cylinders and noticed nothing was coming out. I ran the motor for a few minutes, with no oil coming from the oil pump. I check the hoses all the way to the pump to see if it was pumping oil, and it was. I tried this several times with no success, no noticeable oil coming from the pump while the engine is cranked. I'm stuck, any suggestions?
