I have been struggling with trying to find a set of drive yoke shafts for a set of twin 94 volvo penta DP - C drives.
these were the last of the old style and was put on a 94. (not the the SX style) the bellows were shot and the yoke shafts are horribly rusted. In looking up numbers, Volvo Penta seems to do a great job of being very vague anywhere i look. Almost off of these have the u joints with the inner clips on the caps and mine have the clips on the outside. The end that goes towards the transom are fine spline. I have only found one model of what looks to be correct from a 290 model and it has the part number 3860230 at a cost of $840 plus shipping for each. In looking a less expensive route, does anyone know if an earlier model from a 275 or later with fine spline and has inner clips on the u joint caps will work if just replacing the whole yoke shaft. Those can be found for much cheaper around $250.
