i just got a 94 evinrude v4 112spl. it had been sitting for a few years in a basement with fluids drained. i went over everything. have water pump and carb kits ordered. but ladt night i started it and it runs good except that as soon as i start it i get a constant loud beep from the remote box. sounds like a no oil warning but it doesnt have oil injevtion and it starts as soon as i turn the key and doesnt stop until i turn it off. i unhiokef wires to temp sensor snd still does it. could the buzzer just be bad?
 
Correct it could be the self test circuit bad.-----Do a compression test for future reference.----Post the numbers here.
 
If it’s a new to you motor may want to check the fuel pump. Not sure if this is a VRO motor or not but if it is and it was converted to a premix, it could be the no oil signal if it wasn’t disconnected properly.
