About to purchase boat but can

About to purchase boat but cant see a water spout on engine Is there one at all . Owner says water shoots from exhaust holes and spout at bottom of lower unit is this true.

Untill Merc owned them for a short time- there was no tell-tale. Just the exhaust and the temp buzzer. (Turn on ig. and ground it to test the circuit) But to test the sender you need an ohm meter and a vat of boiling water.
