I bought this motor about a month ago for a small boat I am building.* I finally got around to checking it out this afternoon.* First thing I see when I removed the cover is corrosion on the wires attached to the ignition coil and kill switch.* I don't see any corrosion to the terminals on the ignition coil.* I know just enough about motors to be dangerous, so I need guidance.* Since these parts do not appear to be available any longer, I assume I can make new wiring using similar guage wire and terminal ends?* Is there a recommended type of wire to use?* Due to the corrosion, is there anything else I should be checking?* It appears I will need to pull the flywheel to do additional inspections and to replace the wiring.* Can someone recommend a flywheel puller?* Thanks in advance.
