Hi, First time poster, hope I'm giving enough information.
I just bought a fletcher GTO 147 with a 75hp Mariner (Serial number 9628987). Engine needed a small bit of work.
I put in a new starter, plugs and gear lube. But I noticed now that even though there is a strong telltale, there is also
water pumping from holes the lower unit. There are hold there that it's coming out of, so I'm not sure if it is supposed to or not.
I also think it could be a cracked water pump housing.
This is the engine running on idle.
I've purchase a water pump service kit, which included a new housing, do you think this will fix the issue?
