I have a 61 johnson 40 hp tha

I have a 61 johnson 40 hp that is missing the slow speed idle pin assemply (screws in in the middle of the carb) needless to say tha engne doesnt run without this piece. Ive tried local boat dealers but since such a old engine cant find any parts for it. any ideas where i can get parts for this to have it up and running by this summer?

" Tony, Search the web for a Outboard Junk Yard. I know of one in NJ (Trixie's) and I found one on the web the other day (didn't save the link). That motor was very popular, and probably a bunch of motors (2 cylinders 25-35HP??)shared that part. Probably Joe could give you a range of motor parts to look for. "
