"Hi I have a 60 efi 4stroke, it starts fine, but when you pickup the rpm approx 2000 then throttle back into neutral the motors cuts (as if idle is too slow ?)This is running on or off the water.I changed the IAC valve, no change and the CDS shows no faults present ? Any suggestions"

"This motor is an 06 model with S/N 0P435733, when is was brand new it had a fault EST 4 open circuit (#4 coil had split and a white goo was comming out , the 5pin plug was not melted at the coil or the plug harness)Is it possible to have damaged a circuit in the ECM ? The batt cables were never loose or polarity ever reversed , the motor is not in a limp mode."
