Been searching high and low for this issue. It goes into guardian mode at 1500, alarm beeps once. At 3000 rpm alarm beeps twice but does not drop rpms. swapped all sensors with the port motor, changed plugs, wires, cap, rotor, no codes in the ecm. even swapped ecm with the port motor. mechanic who was supposed to be MerCruiser certified spent 12 hours and $2500 couldn't figure it out. Any ideas?
