500 merc lower unit swap form short to long

i was wondering if any one new

i was wondering if any one new if you can get any kits or extensions or something to be able to switch from a short shaft(15') to a long shaft(20') on my 500e 50 hp merc? boat transome is 12 1/2' long therefore the cavitation plate is 3' short from the bottom of the boat and when i tried to use it it would amost plane trhan then cavitate.
