50 Hp Merc/Mariner Walbro Carb Float Adjustment/ Rebuild Question

While doing a rebuild of my carbs, particularly because the lower carb was spitting out fuel from the economizer port when I over pumped the fuel bulb on the fuel feed line, I noticed a significant difference in the bend angle of the center tangs that hold down/close off the fuel bowl feed needle on each carb.. Below is a photo of the floats from the two carbs. The bottom picture is the float from the lower carb. Note the center tang seems to be bent way up which would need more float movement to close and thus let a lot more fuel into the bowl than the top float which is almost parallel. Is this normal or should the tangs be about the same? If so should I attempt to adjust the tang? Or are the floats individually calibrated somehow? Seems like they would be pretty hard to bend just from fuel pressure.. (Also the bottom float as well as the inside of the carb is a lot more discolored. Not sure what that if anything might signal.)

Thanks for your advice in advance!!
