"I just bought a boat that has a 50 hp Force on it. The previous owner is unsure of the year, but thinks it is a 94. I need to order a water pump kit for it but he can't find a serial number. I live 2 hours away so I can't just run down there and look myself. I'll be bringing it home in a few weeks, but wanted to get a leg up on ordering the water pump kit. Can anyone tell me where to have him look for the serial number ?? Thanks.

Hi Rich on mine the # is on the transom mount braket on the right side if you are looking at the back of the motor/boat.
